4-Acryloylmorpholine is a morpholine organic compound with CAS number 5117-12-4 and formula C7H11NO2. It is a colorless liquid with a distinctive odor. It is a liquid state at room temperature, with lower volatility and lower solubility. Soluble in organic solvents such as alcohols, ethers and esters. The structure contains an acryloyl group and a morpholine ring. Obtained by reacting acrylic acid with morpholine.

Synthesis Technology
Synthesized from acrylic acid and benzoyl hydrogen, and then reacted with morpholine to synthesize N-acryloyl morine.

UniVOOK Chemical is continuously working together with its partners to discover more applications and function for 4-Acryloylmorpholine. By supporting our customers in the development of more advanced and valuable functional materials, achieve a win-win situation for both sides.

Features and Applications

Polymer Synthesis:

4-Acryloylmorpholine can be used as a monomer to participate in polymerization reactions, by copolymerizing with other monomers to form polymers. 4-acrylyl morpholine polymer has good chemical resistance, heat resistance and mechanical properties, and is widely used in the production of coatings, inks, adhesives, fibers and plastics.

Crosslinking Reaction:

4-Acryloylmorpholine can be used as a crosslinking agent to react with other compounds to form crosslinked polymers or gels. These crosslinked materials have excellent strength, elasticity and chemical stability, and can be used to prepare elastomers, coatings, hydrogels and controlled drug release systems.

Photosensitive Reactio:

4-Acryloylmorpholine can be used as a photosensitizer or a photosensitive monomer to participate in photopolymerization. The patterned polymer is formed by polymerization reaction under ultraviolet light.

Intermediate Compounds:

4-Acrylomorpholine is also an important intermediate compound, which produces compounds with different functions and structures through substitution, addition, and cyclization reactions. This makes it have a wide range of potential applications in drug synthesis, surface modification and functional material synthesis.

Deposition Technology:

It can be used for surface functionalization during metal deposition and nanoparticle preparation.
