Allyl glycidyl ether is an organic compound with the molecular formula C6H10O2,appears as a colorless liquid; as an ether containing epoxy groups, its structure contains allyl and glycidyl groups.
UniVOOK Chemical’s Allylglycidylether is manufactured through the reaction of allyl alcohol and ethylene oxide. Its molecular structure contains an allyl group (-CH2=CH-CH2-) and an epoxy group (-C-O-), making it a very active organic compound. As an important organic synthesis intermediate, Allylglycidylether has a wide range of applications, especially in polymer synthesis and chemical synthesis processes.
Allyl clycidyl ether (AGE) has two functional groups – allyl and epoxy groups. It can copolymerize with many kinds of monomers.

Due to contains epoxy group, Allylglycidylether can be used as a cross-linking agent. It can react with reactive groups in other compounds to form a three-dimensional network structure that enhances the material’s hardness, heat resistance and chemical resistance.

Allyl glycidyl ether can be used to synthesize materials with special functions, such as photosensitive materials, colloidal materials, etc.
